Photoshop Elements and Image Manipulation
I'm going to talk about 4 elements in Photoshop which I think are effective. The first one is the 'Magic Wand' tool. I use this tool all the time, it is very useful and handy. The 'Magic Wand' tool is a tool that gets rid of any unwanted space. For example, if you had a picture of someone and wanted to get rid of the white background, you would click on the background and it would automatically high light it, then you would click back space and it disappears. Although this tool is effect, I would rather use the tool called the 'Quick Selection' this tool is a more precise way of getting rid of background space. If I wanted a more accurate way of cutting out unwanted space, this tool is the one.
Another tool I really like using is the 'Clone Stamp' tool. This tool is a really useful tool to use because it can get rid of certain parts of an image. For example, if you had a bird flying in your picture, you would use the Stamp tool to remove it like it wasn't even there. Basically it can remove parts of an image like it wasn't even there before.
The filter called 'Lighting Effects' is a great way of getting the light to shine in different angels and positions. Also you can direct the light source so its focusing on different parts of the image. For example, If you had a dark image which needed to be brightened in a different way, you would use that filter to change the light position and make it more realistic than it actually was.
