Recce | On location

Recce 

Today we went off to find a good filming location for a period drama/sci-fi. We had to think about lighting/weather, permission, accessibility etc. 

Lorry access would be tricky but is possible. You would have to get special permission to park on there property. There is plenty of room to set up sanitation, catering and first aid, along with all the filming/sound equipment.

The sun will rise in the east and set in the west. So, at this point in time (November) the best shot of the Crescent would be around 2:00pm because it will be lit up by the sunlight.

The big problem you would have is all the cars and the public. You would have to get permission to close the road off and ask people to move there cars.
