2) Whats the difference between a typeface and font?
The difference between a typeface and font is that the font is a digital file that creates the typeface. The typeface is a design of type, what makes up the letters, shapes, style, width and the weight.

8) What is a Grid?
A grid is a structure, usually made up of vertical, horizontal and angular lines. Grids can be used to store information, pictures and numbers. I think its very organised and makes thinks look neat and tidy. In typography a grid is used to subdivide a page vertically and horizontally into margins, columns, inter-column spaces, lines of type, and spaces between blocks of type and images.
These subdivisions form the basis of a modular and systematic approach to the layout, making the design process faster, and ensuring visual consistency. Grids were not talked about until the mid-twentieth century. Artists, printers, and writers hadn’t thought about content proportion and space before now.
